3 FLEURS

A flamboyant floral

A sap-green tear of galbanum, a crisp mint leaf, an outstanding quality of rose, the pristine whiteness of a sophisticated jasmine and the fierceness of tuberose, enhanced by a white musk cocktail… 3 FLEURS tells three love stories in three voices, through three flowers…

Description

Rose or, passionate love… For Dante the Florentine, it was the symbol of Paradise; its peerless fragrance suffuses Persian poetry, where it expresses the purest love. For the French poet Ronsard, “rose is the bouquet of love, rose is the perfume of Gods”… In Ancient Rome, pools were filled with rose petals; the flowers were dedicated to Venus, whose son Cupid wore them as a crown… The powerful yet delicate scent of rose opens 3 FLEURS on a pure, soaring note, before seeping into its heart.

Jasmine or, romantic love… A flower picked at dawn, for love blossoming under the sun. Jasmine is one of the most common images in Middle-Eastern poetry; it used in amulets to procure love… Its sweet, heady fragrance wafts in Scheherazade’s tales of the Arabian Nights in. In 3 FLEURS, it develops all its fruity, animalic facets.

Tuberose, or forbidden love… It is the flower of desire and sensual pleasure. In the Italian Renaissance, its intoxicating fragrance was thought to endanger maidens, who were forbidden to walk in tuberose gardens at night for fear their virtue would succumb.  The ample, mysterious scent of tuberose expresses the untameable nature of carnal desire in 3 FLEURS.

3 FLEURS melts on skin. Conceived like an elegant jewel, is the scent of a promise kept…
